Dear Singing River Health System Retiree,

I am writing to provide an update on our plans to secure the future of Singing River Health System and healthcare for our communities in Jackson County and along the Gulf Coast.

As I shared last week, the Singing River Board of Trustees decided to pursue a fully integrated model with a like-minded healthcare organization that will invest in and grow our system. The Board of Trustees presented this information to the Jackson County Board of Supervisors during their meeting today. This is just one step in a very thorough process that will be undertaken to determine and secure the long-term future of Singing River Health System.

We anticipate the Board of Supervisors will take up this issue in a future meeting, and we are committed to keeping you updated as the process moves forward. We appreciate your continued support of Singing River.
