UPDATED NOTICE

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL VESTED PARTICIPANTS AND BENEFICIARIES OF THE SINGING RIVER HEALTH SYSTEM EMPLOYEES’ RETIREMENT PLAN AND TRUST (the “Plan“)

You were previously given notice of the Special Fiduciary’s intention to dismiss her claim against KPMG and Transamerica and of the opportunity for you to hire your own lawyer to file an individual claim or join a lawsuit already pending against one or both of these defendants. The Special Fiduciary’s case has been dismissed.

Recently, on May 18, 2022, the Circuit Court of Jackson County ruled that the deadline for filing such individual claims is on or about December 18, 2022.

If you wish to file suit or join a pending claim, it is very important that you contact an attorney immediately, in order to protect your rights and seek a potential recovery against one or both of these defendants. Two law firms are handling such claims: Reeves & Mestayer, 160 Main Street, in Biloxi, Mississippi (228-374-5151); and W. Harvey Barton, 3007 Magnolia Street, in Pascagoula, Mississippi (228-769-2070).
