I hope this letter finds you well. I want to share a few updates with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Please mark your calendars for Friday, November 15th<\/sup><\/strong>. I will be presenting at two meetings on that day to give you an update on the financial status of the Plan and to answer questions from you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I\u2019ll be meeting with participants who are still employed at SRHS. That meeting will be at the Pascagoula Hospital, from 1:00 pm \u2013 3:00 pm. Specific location is yet to be determined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Then I\u2019ll be meeting with Retirees and other plan participants or beneficiaries from 3:00 \u2013 5:00 pm. I don\u2019t have a location for that meeting yet, but I will share it as soon as plans are finalized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The hospital has again offered to host both meetings at no cost to the Plan. I hope to see you there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I continue to make monthly reports to Judge Bell on the ongoing status of the Plan. I encourage you to read my reports to the Court and my letters here. Reading my monthly reports to Judge Bell and my letters here is the best way to stay up to date with accurate information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n If you are keeping up with those reports, you will have noted other lawsuits in which the Plan is involved. While I am not at liberty to discuss the details of an ongoing lawsuit, I do want you to know this: I take my job as your Special Fiduciary very seriously. It is my job to see that all benefits to which any participant is entitled are paid in accordance with the governing Plan document and the Court. It is also my job to make sure that benefits that are not due, are not paid, and I am committed to that as well. We can talk about this more when we meet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n If you have questions that I have not answered here on the website, please e-mail me.
